CalSHRM is always looking for those ready to give back to the profession. We are seeking an engaged, HR professional whose varied talent and experiences bring value to the human resources profession. CalSHRM provides an ideal opportunity to challenge yourself, grow and give back to the HR profession through volunteer service.

 

The ideal volunteer will possess exceptional communication, coaching, and leadership skills. Competent with engaging and developing volunteers.

 

Applications are now being accepted for the following CalSHRM Committee positions:

  • Membership

  • Inclusion and Diversity

  • SHRM Foundation

  • Workforce Readiness

 

CalSHRM is also accepting applications for Volunteer Leaders wishing to serve on board leadership Committees in regional areas of the state. These Committee roles are a way to familiarize yourself with CalSHRM activities and initiatives. You don't need to be in an HR career role to serve on CalSHRM's Board of Directors - career diversity and business disciplines can offer innovation and thought leadership to an organization. We invite all interested business and HR professionals who reside in California regions to apply. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis as vacancies occur. These are all volunteer roles, and CalSHRM is a non-profit 501(c)(6) organization. You must be a member of SHRM to serve on the CalSHRM Board of Directors and on Board leadership committees. Join CalSHRM and make a difference by supporting the 17 California SHRM Chapters and Communities advocating on employment law issues that matter to you.
