The Volunteer Leadership Summit Committee is enthusiastically planning great programming and a networking event to provide you with details about the support available from SHRM and CALSHRM, tools for maximizing effectiveness and leadership tips. 

 

WHO SHOULD ATTEND? THIS SUMMIT IS PERFECT FOR: 

• All Chapter Board Members and Volunteers – All chapter board members and volunteers can participate in the 2024 Volunteer Leadership Summit.  Many existing board members and volunteers are your “leaders of the future” in your chapter.  The Summit is a great way to introduce them to the support networks of CalSHRM and SHRM, or let them focus on development areas like Governance, Marketing, Membership, etc. 

• New Chapter Presidents will learn about the resources available, from CalSHRM and SHRM, regarding chapter leadership.  New leaders will get “up-to-speed” quickly on everything from Chapter Governance, Finances, Membership and much more.

• Returning Chapter Presidents - Returning Chapter Presidents will be able to attend “deep-dive” breakouts where they can focus on strategic planning around key areas and leadership.

• President Elects - What a better way to educate President Elects on important chapter leadership topics.
